CRPF Exam Pattern 2014 Eligibility and Qualifying Criteria for Constable Posts
The CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) conducts the recruitment exam for the eligible candidates in the post of Constable through the written exam, physical standard test, physical efficiency test and medical examinations respectively. Exam Pattern:
The written exam for the selections to the post of Constables shall be based on the objective type multiple choice questions on the following topics as given here below.
There shall be two sections in the paper. The first section of the paper has objective type questions on the following:
1. General Knowledge and Current Affairs
2. Elementary Mathematics
3. Analytical Aptitude
4. Reasoning
5. Language (Hindi/ English)
Total Number of Questions: 50
Total Marks Allotted: 100
Duration of Exam: 120 Minutes/ 2 Hours
The second section of the paper will contain questions on the trade test as per the chosen trade for which the candidates apply. Given below is the list of all the offered trades by the CISF for this purpose:

c) Bugler
d) Tailor
e) Carpenter
f) Painter

h) Brass Band
i) Barber

There will be practical exam of 50 marks on the particular trade for which the applicants has made an application.
Qualifying Criteria:
The candidates should qualify in all the above stated examinations in order to get finally selected in the concerned job post. The minimum qualifying marks for all the unreserved/ ex-servicemen candidates is 35% and 30% for all the reserved category candidates respectively.
The candidates who don�t qualify in the first part of the exam will not be allowed to appear in the Trade Test.
